HIBC Gold Reviews and Questions: Is Membership Right for Your Kitchen?
This guide from the HIBC team answers common questions about Gold membership, reviews and project fit. Our aim is to help you choose with confidence: understand the service, compare the complete cost and know where to turn for personal help.
Gold is intended for homeowners planning a kitchen or full remodel who want to evaluate confidential wholesale buying alongside design, delivery and independently contracted installation. A beautiful room matters. So does knowing precisely what you are buying, what remains outside the quote and who is responsible for each step.
How Gold supports your project
HIBC is an online membership buying club with no HIBC product markup. Independent showroom designers provide design and pricing; HIBC helps coordinate that conversation. Together, clarify the products, services, appointment options and timing relevant to your project.
You select and contract separately with the installers and other professionals performing construction. A well-organized project gives each person a clear role: verifying site measurements, receiving deliveries, installing materials and answering installation questions.
You can request free kitchen design and a quote before deciding whether to become a member. An inquiry is not enrollment.
The price belongs in your comparison
Gold costs $4,995 initially, including the first year. A later annual renewal is optional at $495, purchased separately, with no automatic subscription or annual charge.
The most useful comparison starts with the kitchen you actually want. Add the membership fee to product prices, freight, applicable taxes, installation and other relevant costs. Check that competing proposals describe comparable specifications and included work.
The right fit depends on your purchasing scope and complete proposal. A substantial remodel offers more decisions to compare; for a smaller order, take particular care to see whether the total supports the membership fee.
Five questions worth asking
- Is my scope ready to price? Identify the rooms, products and major changes. Separate confirmed selections from ideas.
- What exactly is included? Request an itemized proposal with cabinet details, accessories, finished panels, delivery and exclusions.
- Who handles each responsibility? Name the designer, final-measurement professional, installer and delivery contact.
- Can the schedule work? Discuss the proposed appointment, quotation process and current product timing, then confirm the arrangements.
- What happens if the fit is wrong? Understand the initial membership refund conditions before placing any orders.
Keep answers with your project documents. They become a useful reference as your design and purchasing decisions develop.
How to read reviews thoughtfully
When considering any review, look for its date, project scope, stage of completion and concrete description of what happened. Was the writer discussing a design request, membership, a product order or installation? Those are different experiences involving different responsibilities.
Look for details you can use in your own planning: what the homeowner purchased, which costs were included and how questions were handled. If a review raises something important to you, bring that question to our team. Your own proposal and priorities should guide the final decision.
Choose when the fit is clear
Gold suits a homeowner comfortable separating product buying from independently contracted installation. If you prefer one company to contract for the entire installed remodel, or still need help defining the scope, discuss that before joining. A useful conversation now makes later decisions easier.
If you join and are dissatisfied, the initial membership fee is refundable when requested within 30 days and no orders have been placed. Renewal and product purchases have different terms. A refund request can be submitted without waiting for a conversation about continuing membership.
