HIBC is a buying club with no HIBC product markup. The membership fee is separate from products and costs such as delivery, installation and construction. For the kitchen portion, HIBC coordinates free design through independent showrooms; appointments and product timing are arranged for the actual project.
Your builder, designer and installers retain their professional responsibilities. HIBC does not act as your general contractor, permit manager or project manager. That division allows you to consider the purchasing opportunity while keeping construction decisions with the people responsible for the work.
