Searching for the best kitchen remodeling company or the best cabinet prices? Start with a shortlist that matches your project, then compare the complete written scope. This guide gives you ten researched starting points and specific questions to ask each one.

Cabinet replacement versus an entire-room remodel
Before comparing DFW kitchen companies, decide whether the project is primarily a cabinet purchase or a complete room renovation. An attractive product quote may exclude the construction work that a design-build proposal includes. Keep those two decisions visible so the totals are comparable.
- Does the named crew serve your address, and who supervises the installation?
- Is the proposal cabinet supply, cabinet installation or the complete remodel?
- Which countertop, appliance, plumbing and electrical allowances remain unresolved?
For the market’s existing planning guidance, see our Dallas–Fort Worth kitchen planning and quote guide. For a separate room, use the primary bathroom remodel planning guide.

- Who prepares the architectural plans and any engineering, and what drawings become contract documents?

What counts as the best cabinet price?
A meaningful cabinet deal starts with the same cabinet list, construction, finish, hardware and installation scope. A price per cabinet or a promotional percentage can hide differences in sizes, panels, accessories, freight or labor. Ask for the itemized specification and a complete written total.
Use our kitchen cabinet total-cost worksheet to place the quotes side by side. If you are considering an HIBC membership, include the membership fee and every applicable project cost. Do not assume a membership or a headline discount will make every project less expensive.
How to use company reviews without being misled
Match the review to the job you want done. A cabinet-delivery review may say little about a full remodel; a bathroom project may involve a different team or scope. Look for recent, specific accounts of communication, change orders, installation quality and issue resolution. Check the company identity and location before comparing ratings across websites.
Ask the company for references from a similar project and a written explanation of who handles unfinished work or warranty issues. This guide does not reproduce star ratings or claim that company testimonials are independent verification. The FTC’s contractor-hiring guidance offers additional checks.
Compare your kitchen purchasing options.
Bring your cabinet list, room measurements and competing product quote. HIBC can help with a kitchen design and purchasing comparison while you choose and contract with your installer independently.
Where HIBC belongs in the comparison
HIBC is a product-purchasing membership, not a remodeling contractor. Gold’s current first-year fee is $4,995; an additional year is optional and separately purchased for $495, with no automatic renewal. Compare your actual products, applicable membership fees, taxes, freight and installation against the alternatives. Savings and availability are not guaranteed.
The current membership offer has a conditional 30-day refund window if no orders have been placed. Read the current offer and terms before joining. This guide does not change membership, cancellation or product-order rights.
Questions buyers ask
Which company is the best kitchen remodeler in Dallas–Fort Worth?
There is no single verified winner in this guide. The right shortlist depends on your address, project scope, design needs and who will be responsible for installation. Use the profiles to ask comparable questions and verify current credentials and references.
Should I compare a cabinet supplier with a design-build remodeler?
Yes, if you separate product purchasing from construction. Ask the supplier what is excluded, obtain the installer’s written scope, and compare the combined cost and responsibilities with the design-build proposal.
Can these companies handle a primary bathroom too?
Some companies’ official materials describe bathroom work; others focus on cabinetry or kitchen services. Confirm the exact room and service scope directly. Our primary bathroom guide has a separate wet-area and product worksheet.
